Better dementia care for a better world during your care
Most people with dementia will eventually need specialist dementia home care if they are to remain within the comfort of their own familiar surroundings. We know that dementia can seem like a challenging issue to face for families, but with the right professional care and support, individuals with dementia can still enjoy an active, happy and fulfilling life in their home.
My Care World Home care’s mission is to provide outstanding dementia home care services for those who wish to remain in their home. Dementia care at home is often an overlooked alternative when considering care options, yet it is a viable and often preferable choice for many people with dementia compared to moving into residential nursing care.
MCW Home care has over 10 years of experience providing the highest levels of home care for dementia. Our MCW Carers are specially trained to provide all the support you need, whilst your designated Care Coordinator will oversee all aspects of your care with MCW.
We have a full range of services that are flexible to your exact needs. For those looking for round the clock support in their own home; we offer full-time live-in care services where a caring companion will move into your home to support you whenever you need it. For those who require less assistance and want to maintain their independence, we offer daily home care services where we check up on you as much or as little as you would like to provide heartfelt care in your home.
A recent study showed that 85% of people would like to remain in their own homes for as long as possible if diagnosed with dementia.
For the past 10 years, we have cared for many people who are living with dementia and enabled them to remain in their own home, with their familiar comforts and routines. At MCW we appreciate that diagnosis of dementia can be an isolating and frightening experience, but we passionately believe that it is absolutely possible to live well with dementia. We’ve produced a dementia guide specifically to help.
